My Investing Philosophy
Most people want to get the most from each dollar they invest. Everyone would like maximum return with minimum risk – that would be ideal – but not realistic. Some people invest on a hope and a prayer, and cross their fingers that something good happens – there is a better way.
Possibly the most important contribution I make as a Financial Advisor is to educate my clients so they understand the investment opportunities available to them, exploring both the positive and negative elements of each. Equally important is my understanding of each individual client – their goals, hopes and what they aspire to achieve, as well as their obligations, commitments, tolerance for risk, and any fears they may hold. That means I spend a lot of time and effort asking questions and listening to each person involved in developing a comprehensive financial plan.
We then work together through a process of aligning investment alternatives with desired outcomes. I want every client to make informed investment decisions so they are comfortable with their choices – no one should ever lose sleep over what is happening to their invested money. No one can guarantee investment results or predict the future. We can, however, adhere to an approach that offers the potential for gain while mitigating the possibility of loss. That is the core of my investing philosophy.
